The flats feature a variety of communal recreational facilities. There is a bus stop and train station close to the flat for easy travelling. The flats offer security and maintenance services via a mobile app. The flat management team is always on hand to help students; insurance is included in the rental contract.

Features

New Medlock House Manchester offers two room types, catering for the different needs of students. En-suite is the most common room in the UK, with bedrooms equipped with private bathrooms, allowing students a good balance of privacy and socialising. Non-En-suite rooms require students to share bathrooms with their flatmates, but a shared kitchen and living room area is better suited to hosting social events such as parties.

New Medlock House offers various amenities designed to cater to all student lifestyles and interests. The Dance Studio is the perfect space for movement, rhythm and expression. And the music studio allows novice and experienced musicians alike to be creative. Have a friendly competition in our games room, or sing your heart out in our fun karaoke room. In addition to recreational programmes, the student residences offer a modern laundry room to help students avoid housework trouble. Study rooms provide a peaceful environment to focus on your work.

Location and What's Hot?

New Medlock House is located on the south side of Manchester city centre. Within a 5-minute walk of Tesco and Sainsbury's, the UK's leading convenience store brands. Oodles, Nando's and Chimaek are also within walking distance. For a taste of British pub culture, head to The Courtyard.

Manchester city centre is a 10-minute bus ride away, and Manchester Arndale Shopping Centre, Selfridges and Primark are all favourite haunts for shopping enthusiasts, so whether you're looking for high-street or affordable brands, you're sure to find something that suits you. Apart from shopping, Manchester Craft & Design Centre and National Football Museum are also in the city centre area, so if you are interested, you should visit them occasionally.

Transport

Oxford House Bus Stop is a 6-minute walk from the New Medlock House, and Manchester Oxford Road train station is a 10-minute walk away. The flat is next to Manchester Metropolitan University, just a 4-minute walk away. For Foundation students, INTO Manchester is a 9-minute walk away, the University of Manchester main campus and BPP University are a 10-minute walk away, and the University of Salford is a 21-minute walk away by public transport.

Security & Services

New Medlock House Manchester offer 24/7 security and maintenance services submitted through the free MyUnite App. If students have special needs, the flats can be made accessible. Our Emergency Command Centre is on "standby" 24/7, ready to help you in an emergency.

Once a booking is processed, the student has 3 days to accept the offer. It means for the student and the guarantor to accept the contract and pay the £250 advance rent payment. (For bookings in England only. No Advance Rent Payment is required for bookings in Scotland).

Once these steps are done, the booking is completed.
If one of the step is not completed within these 3 days, the offer will expire.
