If the first rent instalment is due prior to the booking start date and it is not received as cleared funds within seven days of the due date, The Property reserves the rights to cancel your booking and resell the room. You remain liable for all amounts due under the agreement until the room is sold and for any lost rental amounts between bookings which The Property may deduct from any deposit they hold.
If after the start date of your booking you would like to be released from the agreement and a replacement resident is found by you who we believe to be eligible in The Property absolute discretion, The Property will release you from the agreement, from the date the new agreement with the new resident takes effect. You will remain responsible for any rental arrears outstanding on the date the agreement ends.
If, after the commencement of your booking, you would like to be released from the agreement but you have not found a replacement resident (as described above) to take over the agreement then The Property reserve the right to retain the deposit and you will remain liable for the full rent and other charges detailed in your agreement until the booking ends.
