The flats have a good infrastructure, and the rooms are comfortable and clean, making them ideal for students and young people to live and stay. There are a variety of restaurants, supermarkets and small shops within a 10-minute walk, such as Sainsbury's Local, H&T Pawnbrokers, etc. Nido Haymarket is located in the centre of Edinburgh. It is named after its proximity to Haymarket station, about a 5-minute walk away, and an excellent public transport link to Edinburgh College of Art and the University of Edinburgh.

Nido Haymarket student accommodation has 168 beds in En-suite and Studio rooms; the En-suite room has a double bed, under-bed storage and wardrobe, desk and chair. There is also a shared kitchen with a sofa, dining table and large LCD TV. Each studio will include a personal bathroom, double bed, under-bed storage, wardrobe, study space, and a single kitchen including a cooker, refrigerator, and microwave. Nido Haymarket student flats also have communal areas such as a gym, games room, cinema, a study room to discuss problems with friends, and an outdoor patio to host a party in, and the rent is inclusive of utilities, so there's no need to worry about paying for them.

Nido Haymarket is within walking distance of the historic Nido Haymarket, just a 20-minute drive from the historic Edinburgh Castle and the National Galleries of Scotland, so there's no need to worry about getting bored.

From Nido Haymarket, it's a 17-minute walk to Edinburgh Napier University Craiglockhart Campus, a 22-minute walk to the Edinburgh College of Art, a 40-minute bus journey to the Edinburgh KB Campus and a 22-minute bus journey to Heriot-Watt University. Haymarket Station bus stop is a 4-minute walk away, from which you can travel to all corners of Edinburgh. Haymarket train station is a 6-minute walk away, with direct trains to other cities in the UK, making it easy for students to get around.

Cancellation Policy

Details

The cooling off period of 7 days upon receipt of your Advanced Rental Payment. If an Advance Rental Payment is not required, the 7 days 'cooling off period'starts when your booking confirmation email has been sent.
If you cancel within the cooling off period, you will no longer be liable for the contractual obligations set out in the tenancy agreement and Accommodation Supplier will refund your Advance Rental Payment. If you have already checked in and collected keys, please see the section relating to cancellation after check in.
Can I cancel my booking after the 7-day cooling off period?
If you wish to cancel your booking after the 7-day cooling off period, you will remain liable for the contractual obligation set out in the tenancy agreement.
Exceptions to this may be considered if proof is offered under the following circumstances;
1. Your UK visa application has been denied.
2. You have failed to obtain the required qualifications to get into your first university of choice.
3. Extenuating circumstances e.g., ill-health, family circumstances.
Where proof is required, this must be emailed to site, then the request to cancel will be considered.
If you have failed to obtain your grades to attend university or your UK visa has been denied, the proof must be supplied and emailed to the site at the earliest opportunity and at least within 72 hours of you being notified. On receipt of the proof, Accommodation Supplier will cancel your booking and your advanced rental payment will be refunded.
If you fail to send the proof within the 72-hour timescale, your advanced rental payment will be retained.
If you hold an AST or PRT through a university nomination, this may vary, please check with your individual accommodation team at site for further details.
All requests to cancel a booking must be made in writing via email to the site you have booked.
Can I cancel my booking after I have moved in?
After you have checked in and collected your keys you lose the right to cancel your tenancy.
You are liable for the full rent unless a suitable replacement is found to take over your tenancy agreement.
Only when a suitable replacement has been found and they have completed their tenancy and paid any rent due, will you be released from your tenancy liability, and Accommodation Supplier will refund your deposit provided if the room was returned in an acceptable condition.
If you have withdrawn from university due to extenuating circumstances, then please speak directly with your site operations manager who will advise further.

Can I change rooms after check-in?

The apartment will try to arrange it. If a room is available and you have an understandable reason for wanting to change, the apartment can communicate to change rooms, please note that the price difference will be charged for changing rooms.

Do you provide kitchen supplies and bedding?

These items are not included in your room as they tend to be personal items. However, we've partnered with UniKitOut and Rise & Fall (an eco-friendly option), so you can buy everything your room needs and have it ready for you when it arrives.

What materials should be prepared when moving in

Upon check-in, the apartment front desk will need to see a form of photo identification (passport, driver's license, etc.). Proof of studies from your university, preferably an offer, will also be required, and the apartment may also require a copy for their records and upon request from the local council.
