Nido Castle Hill is a modern student accommodation in Cambridge, offering students the choice between En-suite and Studio rooms. En-suite suites come with personal bathrooms for privacy, while Studio suites are self-contained units with bedrooms, kitchenettes and private bathrooms. The flats also offer a gym, on-campus laundry, secure bike storage, dedicated study rooms and lounge areas for socialising. This self-contained unit combines a bedroom, kitchenette and private bathroom to provide a compact and comprehensive living space. Cancellation Policy

No Visa No Pay

Can I cancel my booking after the 7-day cooling off period?
If you wish to cancel your booking after the 7-day cooling off period, you will remain liable for the contractual obligation set out in the tenancy agreement.
Exceptions to this may be considered if proof is offered under the following circumstances;
- Your UK visa application has been denied.
- You have failed to obtain the required qualifications to get into your first university of choice.
- Extenuating circumstances e.g., ill-health, family circumstances.

Where proof is required, this must be emailed to site, then the request to cancel will be considered.
If you have failed to obtain your grades to attend university or your UK visa has been denied, the proof must be supplied and emailed to the site at the earliest opportunity and at least within 72 hours of you being notified. On receipt of the proof, Accommodation Supplier will cancel your booking and your advanced rental payment will be refunded.

If you fail to send the proof within the 72-hour timescale, your advanced rental payment will be retained.

All requests to cancel a booking must be made in writing via email to the site you have booked.

Can I cancel my booking after I have moved in?
After you have checked in and collected your keys you lose the right to cancel your tenancy.
You are liable for the full rent unless a suitable replacement is found to take over your tenancy agreement.
Only when a suitable replacement has been found and they have completed their tenancy and paid any rent due, will you be released from your tenancy liability, and Accommodation Supplier will refund your deposit provided if the room was returned in an acceptable condition.
If you have withdrawn from university due to extenuating circumstances, then please speak directly with your site operations manager who will advise further.

Can I change rooms after check-in?

The apartment will try to arrange it. If a room is available and you have an understandable reason for wanting to change, the apartment can communicate to change rooms, please note that the price difference will be charged for changing rooms.

Do you provide kitchen supplies and bedding?

These items are not included in your room as they tend to be personal items. However, we've partnered with UniKitOut and Rise & Fall (an eco-friendly option), so you can buy everything your room needs and have it ready for you when it arrives.

What materials should be prepared when moving in

Upon check-in, the apartment front desk will need to see a form of photo identification (passport, driver's license, etc.). Proof of studies from your university, preferably an offer, will also be required, and the apartment may also require a copy for their records and upon request from the local council.

With bills included in the price of almost all student flats, students don't have to worry about paying any extra fees. However, if you choose to live in a private house, you will need to pay your own utility bills and council tax.

How much do I have to pay for a deposit?

This will depend on the type of property you choose. The most anyone can legally charge is 5 weeks rent. Some accommodation in Cambridge halls of residence will not require a deposit at all, while on average the deposit in a shared house in Cambridge will be £1067.75
