Student Accommodation in Dublin

Will I have to pay a deposit for Dublin student accommodation?

Student accommodations in Dublin may vary in their requirements, with some requesting a deposit upfront, which might initially be presented as a reservation fee. However, it's important to note that not all accommodations operate under this system - the specifics will depend on the individual accommodation you select. When a deposit is required, it will typically be capped at the equivalent of five weeks’ rent. This serves as a safeguard for both the tenant and the landlord, ensuring a commitment to the lease agreement.
